I'm a first time college going student at the age of 40. Have any of you gone back to school or started college later in life? I know my mom did, but she was in her 30's. I'm anxious as school starts June 9th. I just got all my funding and paper work finished yesterday. Some time today I have to take an entry exam. I took a practice one and I didn't fair so well on it.
Well, guess I should go and study. I hope to get back here soon to see what everyone thinks and your experiences.

This is one thing I haven't done is go to a reunion. I didn't graduate with my class. I graduated through correspondence years later.

Well I did correspondence as I could join the college for full time as I didnt have enough time ....but truly speaking going to college for full time is totally different experience and better option.

I returned to school a few years ago. I earned an A.A.S Degree in Business Administration. It took me two years, but I finally finished. I graduated one week before my ten-year high school reunion. It was a good feeling. I am now 32 years old, and I am planning to return to school sometime within the next year to further my studies. I am looking forward to it.

I think getting a higher education can benefit a person a great deal more than earning a higher pay. Feeling good about one's accomplishments is one of those benefits.

Are you going back by using an online school or building? Due to my disabilities I have decided to go back by doing my studies on line. I'm glad I'm not the only one in this educational boat.
