Which do you prefer - La Niña or El Niño?

It was so hot these past few months, like I could not sleep at all during the daytime and I work at nights. It was really a difficult time for my sleeping habits and my payroll due to the electricity bill went up like crazy! Now I'm feeling that the rainy season is approaching, and I can now sleep during the day, too good that I almost woke up late. LOL. The rain has started to fall in some days, but scary because of the storms that might come (hopefully not again.. ) Which of the two do you prefer? hot or cold?

Yeah, I would not want to go outside to play LOL, if its extremely hot like what happened in summer. Rainy days are cold, so its fun to just stay inside the house and sleep and eat. Youre right! =)

I prefer rainy season which starts in the month of june. It's more comfortable than having a very hot and humid summer season. We're thankful that the summer has ended. It's was truly a sacrifice.

If given a chance I love the rainy season but not La Nina or El Nino. Not the extremes. The summer was truly a sacrifice.

hi there redphile, hmm i am more afraid of la nina than el nino... one thing, we have undrepaired roof hahahahahaha :) BTW, we all know what happened last year with Ondoy and Peping.. though we are not affected here in cebu, but seeing the television.. how pity are those in Manila and Marikina in baguio etc etc... when there is too much rain, there are a lot of things which we cannot do than when there is too much heat.. we still have machines like aircon and electricfan.. but with la nina,, there will be no electricity, we cannot go to school, work etc etc... may God bless us to keep us safe always...

sadly, we also have unrepaired roof. Last night was raining too hard and its just a sample but it rained inside the house again. We were not prepared, now that its not raining, I asked my parents to have it fixed right away so that when it rains again, we would not need to have a shower inside the home.

neither. it's okay for me to have hot and rainy seasons since they are what we really have in our country but i don't want their extremes that cause shortage of water and food or floods and flash floods and mudslides.

I am also praying that we don't get the extreme effects of these seasons. Its fine for me to rain enough and be hot enough for us to live our daily lives.

I prefer cold weather than what we experienced this summer. Its too hot! But between La Nina or El Nino? Neither. I prefer just right weather. Both abnormal phenomena bring disaster to people especially the farmers. So I don't want both of them.

I also prefer the cold and a little rainy weather, not the too hot too furious weather that we experienced last summer. Its just too difficult to sleep during that time which takes a toll on my health and my work. I just hope that when it rains, its only enough for people to enjoy it and not for people to sacrifice due to flash floods and the like.

Neither La Niña nor El Niño. They are both weather extremes--either it's too dry or too wet. I can't stand so much heat or so much rain. I prefer balanced weathers.

I don't think anyone could stand the extreme conditions of weather either. I just hope that this rainy season will not be as bad as what I have experienced during the summer. Balance is what everyone hopes for!

between la nina or el nino, NONE! they are both destructive to nature and its inhabitants. cold or hot, definitely cold weather but not that too cold, experts says a comfortable temperature is closer to that of Baguio City that is why I love going there. but i don't like wet season,(rainy season) so i would choose the summer over the rainy one..since its what we got, wet or dry..no such as thing cold or hot here in our country..

I also prefer none but what can we do. I just hope it would just be in between, not too hot or not too cold.

I prefer cold weather.I don't like the heat.I get really sweaty and sticky.I can tolerate cold more than hot.on a fashion sense,I love boots.I cannot wear boots during summer.on rainy days, wearing boots is cute.

I prefer neither. El Nino is really hot but it doesn't mean that La Nina is cold. La nina is just wet. And since we're in a tropical country, wet can be humid as well. On another note, I learned that without these two phenomenon, life would not sustain itself on earth. El Nino and La Nina are ways that the environment is compensating and balancing. Having said all that, I still prefer neither :D
