I saw my friend yesterday in a mall in a shocking surprised and I really pity on her situation..She gained tons of weight because of the steroid given to her to treat her Psoriasis. I had heard that garlic is good for treating tuberculosis and other kind of diseases. Do you think garlic smoothie too will be a good home remedy for Psoriasis? Or just rub crushed garlic direct to the affected skin?? what can you suggests.? I will do my best to do researched about this and with your help too. I am willing to help my friend whatever it takes..!

hi oh my dear tell your friend to get off the steroids as they do more damage than good, get her to a specialist in skin disorders and help her find something not toxic like steroids. i was on steroids for a allergic reaction a nd it almost killed me, i am a diabetic a nd it made my blood sugar go up to 400 and my blood pressure was over 200 and they worked like crazy in the ER to get my blood sugar down and my blood pressure down before I had a stroke. so get her off the steroids they are just plain toxic. I do not think that home remedies are going to help her as psoriasis is an awful disease and needs a good doctor to find the medication that will help her skin. the sooner she gets off steroids the sooner that exta weight will go away. do not do home remedies as psoriasis is a severe disease and needs medical care from a good doctor who will not prescribe s
teroids.

yes she needs to go to a dermatologist and they will really help; her andd I think your friend got a little mixed up, no doctor would give an injection that would definitely damage her liver what he probably said was that while she took this injection they would have to make blood tests to be sure her liver was not affected but if she would go to a doctor who treats skin things like psoriasis and knows what will cure it or slow it down she will get help, taking a lotof any kind of salt will not help that skin condition at all but would kill her kidneys really . there are a zillion things suggested that are said to cure all sorts of things and most of them do nothing at all. no no doctor would give an injection that would damage your liver. some have side e ffects but most only affect maybe one person in ten thousand. but overloading on salt will ruin ones kidneys. find out who is the best most respected dermatologist
and get her there.

She will not intake the salt but rather mix it with water on her bath tub and soak the whole body for half an hour. We are somewhere here in Indiana and I don't know any best dermatologist here. do you know anyone?

As Far I know, psoriasis is not completely curable. Medications which done only suppress the symptoms of psoriasis, in the sense, only improve skin condition and reduce itching. So to improve the condition of skin and reduce itching, traditionally can be given liquid garlic juice, with assumption, garlic contains Saltivine which able accelerate the growth of new tissues cells and stimulates nerve cell structure.

Great.! but it's hard to extract garlic liquid. So maybe making a smoothie out of it will do. what do you think?

I have heard that garlic is very good to control hypertension and my aunt and uncle take one table spoon of garlic every morning after having their breakfast, they say that it is good for the circulation of blood too so now I think I have to do some research on it to understand it much better.
