Old School Courtship...

hello there, yeah yeah, i also miss those days and those styles! hehe unlike today that some just took advantage of text messaging and everything! huh! lots of things people are missing nowadays. i think the old ways are really better and more romantic specially if the guy go to our house to court us, it shows respect and sincerity of their feelings. and nothing beats a love letter that they hand written themselves...yay! haha this post brings me back to the past, although i am still not that old and don't have lots of suitors in my highschool years still i was able to experience such things. haha and what a good feeling it brings!

yeah thats right.. for me the best thing is the old school Courtship.. its very sweet rather than today.. because nowadays, most of the guys have a lots of money so they can buy what the girls wants.. this is so easy today.. so i still prefer the old ones.. when i was a child my grandmother always tell me a story about on how my grandfather courted her.. she tell me that all the gentlemen are always sweet they do a lot of thing to impress the girl and to proved by the guy how he love that girl..

I love true courtship. I enjoy the guy putting some thought into what I might like. I enjoy cards for no reason and flowers just because. It feels so good to be treated in a special way and for the guy to take his time and just let things go at their own pace. I still have old love notes that make me smile. It's a feeling experience to be able to open a card or a letter and reread it. A text message doesn't have nearly the same impact for me. Don't get me wrong - texting has its uses, but for me - not for real romance.

I agree with all of you. It's so much better to be courted by the guy. It makes a girl feel really special because you can see the effort and sacrifices from the guy. My current boyfriend of 2 years courted me. It was also his first time to court a girl. He didn't court his past girlfriends. He gave me flowers at first. He asked me out to lunch to tell me of his intentions. He would go to my house and befriend my family. He would bring me pastries almost everyday so I could bring it for my snack at work. He would go to my house at 3am just to bring me to work. After that he goes home. Such sacrifice! He did give me chocolates and more flowers. 2 months later we were officially boyfriend and girlfriend. He's still very sweet and caring towards me. I'm also happy because my family got to know him well to. He's close to my siblings now. Hope things really work out for us in the future!
