How technology defines us. I got a new iPhone this evening. I have been "playing" with it since I got it. This could be very bad. I could end up being another slave to technology. Do you think devices like the iPhone are bad? Should we be doing something else besides haunting mylot and facebook on our blackberries and our iPhones?

Technology defines us is a totally different issue. The thing we have to look upon is how we define technology. Do we use it judiciously? Do we overuse it? Do we avoid it? Do we become slaves to it? I would choose the fourth option. Why should you end up being a slave to technology when you are already one?!! Well, I guess everyone who is here is a slave to technology including me. The devices like iPhone and Blackberry are not bad - they are indeed good and are path-breaking discoveries. But, it is upto us about how we use it. It is like this : We have a table full of food opposite to us. For an example, there is bread, jam, butter, cheese, vegetables, sauce, omlette, patties opposite to us. It is left to us about how we make our bread filling. I would choose jam. You may choose cheese or whatever you like. So technology is what you make out of it. It is not something that is going to spoil you. You decide your own fate. I have talked Philosophy now... Let me come to technology part of your question. iPhone - Wow!! I do love that device. A perfect device by Apple Inc. One of the major inspirations for the modern day touch screen phones and smart phones. iPhone is excellent. I have an iPod Touch 2G last September. I tampered with it for a month and then, I got the hold of it. If I were you, I would have jailbroken my iPhone immediately. You can learn to make your own themes for the iPhone. iPhone is an extraordinarily powerful device. Seldom does it hang or give problems. iPhone experience is better if you have WiFi around. Download a lot of apps - give them a try and use your 3GS to the fullest. myLot and Facebook are for entertainment. So, I use them in my device too. I am not a member of Facebook but I use Twitter from my device. Enjoy your iPhone experience, If you have any doubt regarding your device, feel free to ask. Regards

You got a new iPhone? Really? Is so bad, so new iPhone is coming out this month and very soon. You should have waited for the newer model. Well, I've iphone and I really love it. I am not addictive to it. I really love it but for some reason I want to try HTC mobile device they look very pretty. I just hate Apple's tight control over iPhone.

I don't need the newest one, besides I heard they were going to change the unlimited plans to not so unlimited. So I wanted to get in before that happened cause they don't do the retro fitting of plans when they change them. Apple is not so bad, I like that they control their products, actually because then you have someone who is knowledgeable about them when you have a problem. Unlike a PC where when you have a problem no one knows how to fix it or wants to fix it. I have had many Apple products and no problems with any.
