Australia plans plain cigarette packets!!

Recently,I have seen a news that Australia would ban logos and branding on cigarette packets and "cigarette will be sold in plain, standardized packages carrying large, graphic warnings against smoking"and "with the brand names in small print" And,out of consideration of healthcare, the government also sharply raised taxes on cigarettes by 25 percent. All they have down is for "hard-hitting" on smoking, and it seems that they were planning much to support the anti-smoking campain as well. In my view, the goverment are doing a good thing!!Though this policy will do some harm to their domestic economy, people's healthcare should be on the top of our agenda.Since smoking not only cost the life of smokers, but also influence the others' health,so i really hope what the Australia have down can be a global trend!! So mylotters, what do you think? Share me your ideas!!

I am all for anything that cuts down the amount of smokers, but personally I don't think that it will make any difference, if people want to smoke them they still will!!
