throughout my life i've experienced many situations, and i've realized that a good piece of advice to keep in mind is "you never know how much you do for others." try to think about a time where either you've done something for a friend or stranger and it meant the world to them but didn't even phase you, or someone did a kind gesture for you and it was so big for you, but it didn't mean anything to them. share you stories about times you've experienced.

Well - we are here to do good only -that is real life. But the other part is if you do good you are the great sufferer.this is truth. because this gentleman (myself) have done several good hings in life but am suffering .No one comes for rescue. I do good and forget. But believe that some one is maintaining the record of our good activities. So there we certain instances where a great help was extended from strangers and unknown people. I thought this is the reward granted from some where. Hence "BE GOOD DO GOOD" - is the famous and effective saying of a great Yogi Swami Sivananda.

well said, i help my sibling out everyday because he's going through rough times, because of this i am broke, failing a few courses in school, and sleep deprived but to me it's a very high priority.

Yes - as human beings we have to help each other. This is our dharma. But be careful with others-because you help them they take undue advantage of your help,so use your intelligence and do the good act.

There is so many times I have done what you stated. To me, I don't keep track but know that I have. As long as I feel good about what I did or how the other person made me feel, well, life is good.

agreed, it's like karma, one day you will be rewarded for what you've done for others.
