well i have used the sony ones but they are too complex for me to use as i am a beginner and no intention of music editing. But looking for a program that has a feature that i need.
well if your just cutting or pasting music files windows has one.

For sound and music editing, I really haven't found anything better than Audacity. If you're looking to compose music, on the other hand, there is an excellent, open-source music notation program called MuseScore http://musescore.org/ . I've used this in the past and found it to be very good. It allows you to compose music and then save it as a number of different file types. Hope this helps.
