I don't know if it will work out but next week I have an opportunity to go minister at the local rescue mission! I am very excited! A group of ladies are going to do nails and hair and things like that. While I am not really good at that sort of stuff, I can paint fingernails! I want to go and hopefully get to go back to volunteer more in the future. It'll be a great first time try though! Have you ever volunteered at local missions or things like that? Can you share your experience?

Before I moved most of my work was taken up in voluntary work of some description. I was a 'Brown Owl' looking after a Brownie Pack, I taught at Sunday School, I helped run an old person's club and made meals for them, I was secretary of the local church and I used to help look after the church and the hall. It was hard work but I got a lot of pleasure from all the work.

I think it will work out whatever nails or hair as long as it's a kind of help to others. If you are not good at hair you paint fingernails, that's too good to you and the people who need help.take care!

Where are you going to do nails and hair? I never knew that was a kind of missionary job. In my country, in this moment, we are doing volunteer jobs to help people that lost their homes at the earthquake of February 27th. Winter is coming and they don´t have places that will keep them out of the cold. I am worried because it doesn´t seem we will do all that it is needed before the worst of the winter comes. Take care!
