Photo tag request

I've taken and uploaded a number of photos of community events recently, and received a few email alerts that people I don't know have wanted to tag themselves in them. The alert contains a link to a page that tells me I have no requests pending, and the alert itself doesnt appear in my notification stream, only by email. Has anyone else had these? At least one of them I know to be a genuine person, who isnt a Facebook friend of mine, but could well be in the photo concerned. I'd like to give her permission to tag herself if it's genuine but I can't work out how to let her know / allow the tag, from this blank requests page!
