Sleep in the Car

I sometimes can sleep in the car but not always. It is a little easier to fall asleep in the car because car rides our boring so just staring at the same thing makes u sleepy and the fresh air on you helps put you to sleep too. But I prefer to sleep in my own bed then in a car!

I can sleep in a car or in a bus journey but not because of the tiredness. Just the air rushing in gives a free feeling and I enjoy slipping into sleep. It is also because we don't have anything to do while we are traveling and sleeping can be a good option. But nothing equals a sleep in the bed. We can enjoy any position.

when my sister in law was a baby, she would not go to sleep in her bed so my father in law used to load her in the car and drive around the block and she would be asleep! i am not like that at all. yesterday we came home from up north and were in the van for 4 hours and i crocheted for most of it.

Hi Elfbwillow, When I had my first daughtyer she wqas a nightmare to get to sleep and I used to delibrately go out for a drive to get her off, it always worked, most young children do fall asleep easier in the car, my son does so if I don't want him too I will delay my journey until nearer his usual bedtime and then lift him from the car to bed as if he falls asleep earlyin the car it is a nightmare trying to getbhiom to sleep at home. My nephew also fell easily sleep on my car while I drive him to the near McDonals, or Fast food to get him some to eat. Right at the moment, he sat in my car, he might already fall asleep. Or I have to cheer him up to keep him awake. I won't fall easily sleep on my car though. It would be more comfortable in my bed.

I fall asleep very easily in a car. My daughter too.She sleeps easily while on bike too...hahhaha....I don't drive so I prefer sleeping..lol...
