Slow People

Do slow people annoy you? I get so irritated when I get behind a slow driver. I try to think well they may be old and can't see well, maybe their car is not running good, etc. but I still get upset. At work when we are in training classes and people are so slow it drives me nuts. I guess I am used to the fast paced life and it is hard to slow down.

There are times when I get upset but I just bear in mind what I learned from school that every individual is born unique so never expect all people to be of one kind. They may be slow in some things but i think they are better off in other stuff. Just look at the positive side of being slow. Like in driving, maybe the driver is just too cautious on his way.

no ;pholdermomof3 a young man yelled at me as I limped across the street on the pedistrian lane with the light green in my favor, he sat there fuming his foot barely on the brake and screamed , cantyou walk any faster old lady, and I screamed back the light is green and you cannot run a red light young idiot but he did and almost hit me so as I walked down the street and turned to go to work at the library here sat the young idiot who was in a hurry and ran a red light and almost knocked me down. the police called to me to come over there. He said"are you the lady in t he cross walk that this fool almost hit? I told him yes I was so he had me sign this complaint and the man was arrested for almost mowing me down on a red light.so as I am partly physically handicapped I do hurry as fast as I can across the street but am patient with others in my age bracket who cannot move as fast as I can. why be mean to us as we do try our best not to be a burden on any one. On the other side impatient people annoy me so much.

I am more annoyed by fast reckless drivers who think the "good" way of driving is exceeding the speed limit, following much too close for the speed we are going, and especially communicating their displeasure to others rudely who are only following the law and observing common sense and courtesy. Not that it applies to you, just that I'm more annoyed by such people instead of slow drivers. If they are going too slow for my taste, I can always pass them eventually. One way is to arrange your schedule so that you leave early enough so that slower drivers don't matter and arrive at your destination in plenty of time. Of course that can't be done in a training setting. A class is as fast as its slowest learner, and unless it can be divided up into two speeds, there is no solution, unless they can fire the slow learner and continue at a faster pace. It could be the way the teacher is presenting the material as well, but that would involve the entire class.

It annoys me in some extent but not all the time. My parents are both old. When we always walk, they are always left behind. Sometimes I try to walk slow but still I leave them behind. They said that they walk fast but I do not know if they are kidding or not. I just decided to cling on their arms so I won't leave them behind. It is good that I can walk with them because through that walk, we can talk more and share some stories. It always make my day, mingling with my parents even they are old. On some extent, whenever I have to meet a certain person, go to the university or go to work, I always want a driver than can drive fast.Every seconds counts for me.. If I will arrive late I will be embarrassed to the person I will meet. If I will be late in the university, I won't catch up the lessons my professor will be lecturing. If I won't be at my work on time, I will get a deduction on my salary. It also annoys me whenever we have to follow slow cars and traffic. Sometimes, when it seems that the place where I will be going to is near, I just get off the car and start to walk.

Maybe they just do not want to get home.
