I have just spent almost an hour going back over some of my earlier unresolved discussions and marking out best responses.
I think that it is important that we do show our appreciation for the responses that we get of fellow members. How many of you do clear up your unresolved discussions every now and then?
I know that I feel good when I get a notice that I have received a best response !!
so I think that it is very important to do this, how bout everyone else?

I'm way behind on my unresolved discussions but I doubt I'll ever choose a best response for every one of them. There are some discussions, at least of mine, for which I couldn't possibly choose a best response, since every response is great in it's own way.
But, there are others that I could pick a BR but I just haven't had enough time. Spring and Summer are my busiest times of year because of the gardening I do. The more I work outside with my garden, the less I have to buy at the grocery store, even through the Winter, so it's not just my love of gardening but also my frugality that keeps me outside and away from myLot so much.
Thanks for reminding me that I have to get to my unresolved discussions, though. When I do have the time, like when it's raining outside or something, I also have this memory issue that makes me forget things like this. I'll probably try to get to my unresolved discussions tonight or even later today.

You are absolutely right. Not only is it good for the person who receives it,it is good for us too as it helps us going through all the responses we got for our posts. So,it addresses all our queries which we might have keyed in through our discussions. The only thing that disappoints me a bit is when I receive just a couple of responses for a discussion I have started and I have to mark the best response amongst them. But still,I make it a point to make no discussion left unresolved as it feels like a backlog to me...:)

Yes, that's a very good point. I just went back over mine and realised I hadn't replied to all the comments and I did give out a couple of Best Responses too. Sadly, some of my started discussions still have too few responses, but I guess they might get more in time.

I will go back to check the unresolved discussions after a week. I totally agree with you that it is important to choose the best response. It's a kind of appreciation to the people who had responded to our discussions.

I do have a few discussions that I need to resolve yet, but I am not in any hurry to get them done. I do agree though, that it does let the responders know that at least we did read their responses and picked the best response. There are some in here that have discussions a few years old that still aren't resolved. I think it just depends on each individual, as some will get them resolved wihin a short period of time and others let them go a lot longer. I usually wait for a few months before I give the best response. I am not in any hurry to give it, as we have to wait at least a week before we give it anyway, as that is what mylot says to do. I will wiat months before I give it. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

Miss saphrina?? Sweetie, really.
