Hey tess! We already knew that these people were crazy! This just goes to prove it one step further! I read the article and was just sitting here in disbelief that these people could think that this makes any kind of sense! But, then again they beat a 75 year old woman and sent her to jail so they are totally beyond belief in all counts! I have to say that this religion is totally pathetic, outrageous and inhumane!

Me too, I'm oddly a bit lost for words here! I certainly agree with the lady in the article who describes how stupid it was for the men to come up with this idiotic law between them, without even consulting any women as to whether it would make any sense at all, or even be possible, (or be completely depraved, perverted, insulting and moronic - and those were not my first choice of words..)

The infantile mind set of some of these races in relation to their laws about women is sickening and disgusting and alarming. To me, these men come off as stupid, ignorant pigs and they offend me in every way.

Can't say I am very surprised that this comes from Saudi Arabia or their "Royal family", our good allies that we help prop up another dictatorship. Lets not forget all but one of the 9/11 hijackers were supposedly Saudi, not Iraqis or Afghans, unless you believe the Saudi governments arguments that "oh it was only 15" as if that makes it better.

This is completely INSANE!!! I think my blood pressure just went through the roof reading this...lol...but I do thank you for sharing. What's stupid is that there is this "law" that states if you feed a young child your milk - that you will be allowed around him as an adult - unmasked,unsupervised....however, the elderly woman and the men were punished - even after they stated the one guy fed from her as a child....the "law" decided there was no evidence of that and punished them both anyways...that just proves these laws are created for these men to get their rocks off - not once - but twice...once to watch the feeding and the second time to punish her later for it So the lady gives the milk - but later she will still probably be killed because there was "no evidence". On the days I hate America and the bull crap we put up with here, I remind myself of places such as that hell hole and remember that America "ain't that bad" after all....

Insane. It looks to me as if that particular group is trying hard to assimilate into modern society and trying like mad to find anything they can to do so while still within the chains of their religion. It is sickening and ridiculous but I see it as a desperate attempt to modernize and reach for the natural human rights the rest of us enjoy.

The problem is that they have theologised themselves into a corner and are now trying to find loopholes because people cannot cope with the ridiculous rules. Funny how the Saudi's aren't seen as the global bad guys when most of the nutty fundamentalist "Islam" eminates from there.
