It's complicated.....with Meryl Streep

I have wanted to see this one, but haven't gotten around to it yet. Maybe I will rent it soon.

I have not seen it, although I heard a lot of good things about it. I have been debating whether to add it to my Netflix queu or not. Alec Baldwin annoys me to no end, but in this movie I think he is supposed to. lol But I really like all of the other actors and actresses in the movie. You know Mamie Gummer, her daughter? She is going to be on the ABC show Off the Map this fall. It's a show created by Shonda Rhimes, of Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice fame. I think she looks exactly like her mom.

Really, to me the preview didn't make it look like it was going to be that funny. I will definitely have to go rent it and watch it for myself now :). The last movie that made me laugh so hard I was crying was "Meet the Fockers". I love watching a hilarious movie for the first time, nothing else compares.

I haven't seen the movie but know that Meryl Steep is an excellent actress. Any movie she makes has to be a goodie. If it's that funny, I need to rent it or see if it's on our movie channel on cable. Some of the movies are fairly current. Glad you had a good belly laugh.

Okay now i really want to see it! I did miss it, but want to get it on DVD. I just won a PS3 so I can watch movies outside of my computer in HD! Becaude of course we couldn't watch on the tv we had. AS my husband explained it, the old tv our condo offers (its a furnished rental) wouldn't be the proper quality. snort!

Well I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who hasn't seen it, haha. Sometimes I feel I'm way behind in the times because I don't see too many movies. I will tell my daughter's about it and have them rent it. Maybe we can have a girl's night and watch it, and laugh our silly heads off! Thanks for the tip, I'll remember the name for sure.

Hi jill! I didn't see the movie, but know what the storyline is about! My girlfriend saw it and she didn't care for it for some reason. I forgot what she said. I'll have to ask her tomorrow. I am not an Alec Balwin fan, so that was one turnoff for me! But, I love having "laugh fests" like you described! I usually have "those kinds of moments" with my girlfriend/neighbor across the street! Me and her laugh like that alot! We laugh and cry at the same time! In fact, she named it "craughing"! I'm going to have to tell her we need to watch a movie together soon! I could use a good "craugh"!lol

hmmmm..I'm not that impressed on this movie. Sure, there's some laugh in it (it's Alec baldwin and Steve martin onscreen together, impossible not to get at least some laughter lol), but the story itself is not that complicated. I expect more from this movie given the stellar casts

No I have not yet seen it, but I am hoping to soon... I think meryl streep is a great actress, the last film i watched with her in it, was "Mamma Mia" and I thought that certain parts in that movie were just hillarious, along with julie walters... she too is so funny.

This is one movie I want to see. I have heard great things about it and I love Meryle Streep, as I think she is one of the most funniest actresses around.
