How many of you feel that our local government do so much for our community, regardless how much of us participate in the annual census survey. There is an article I read about buffalo Springs, in order not to rely on local government help manage their community, because that way, they have to pay so much taxes, and still, they don't feel the local government really help at all. They rally all the volunteers, to manage the community center, libraries, and help cut the grass in the local parks, and public places. Do you think that is one of constructive method not allowed our government levy too much taxes from us, and still they not helping us?

Relying on the government to do anything can be an adventure, to put things in a politically correct way. I mean, they tend to spend a lot of time not doing anything and what they do a lot of the time, tends to make things a lot worse. So the government helping can be a joke some of the times. I think there are people in government who might useful, but they are buried underneath all of the people who are less than useful. The community would do a better job in these circumstances I think. They would be a bit better put together. Plus there would not be as many politics and rubbish to get through. Therefore, relying on volunteers instead of the government might be for the best. At the very least, we could actually get something accomplished that way. That's what matters in the end.
