If you are renting apartment, or a private house from someone else, have you ever considered buying a renter insurance to help protect your belongings, once there is a fire hazard happening? Your landlord certainly not gotta hold responsibility on your losses once that happen, it is your responsibility to look after your property after all. I heard that a renter insurance is around $15 - $20 per month. For a peace of mind, would you consider it?

The insurance rate is cheap to consider. You might just have a peace of mind, if your apartment caught in fire, or whatever it is. You can get a full recover in compensation.

Not only would I consider it, When I was a renter, I too purchased it, such little money for keeping your things safe, plus it helped me save on my car insurance because I used the same broker...I actually saved money that way.
