Psoriasis question...

Hi everyone. I have had psoriasis since I was about 12, and I'm 44 now. I have gotten over the embarassment, for the most part, and got the attitude of if people wanted to stare, let them. But now I have broken out all over my scalp, which before it has always been my legs and elbows. (Took years to actually wear shorts, lol) I work with the public, in a bank. The really bad thing is that my hair is thinning out now. I think it's a combination of the harsher shampoos (I have been trying T-gel and Dermarest) and the compulsive picking of scales....can't seem to make myself stop doing that. This new thing (My HAIR, for crying out loud! I mean, I'm not overly vain, but now I just wanna hide or cry!) has me totally stressing out, and feeling like the insecure teen all over again. Any suggestions?

I have shocking psoriosis, it started around 30 years ago and actually started in my scalp. I use a Dovenex scalp application as well as Alphosyl 2 in 1 Shampoo and now my scalp is the least problamatic part of my body with psoriorsis

I have a lot of friends who have had Success with Limu Plus, you can check that out at http://Limuplus.com, and see if it is for you. Also, Oxyfresh has some good shampoos that are all natural, I believe the site is http://oxyfresh.com/personal/shampoo.asp, they have a conditioner as well, may or may not help, depending on you of course. Best of Luck with it.

have you tried to take d3 and/or omega3 double "dosage". probably 4 capsules (omega3), 150µg (d3) per day or so. i am currently trying shampoo called psoristop. can't really say if it's working or not because i have only been using it for under a week. ointment called kartalin does work atleast for me but it's really hard to spread on scalp. i usually use it on my face only. i am not sure if psoristop and kartalin are available worldwide.

I just started taking vitamin d because I read that a lot of times there was a d deficiency involved in flare ups. I did try doing a search on psoriastop, but apparently it isn't available in the US, I couldn't find a result that I could understand as they were all in another language. Will look for katalin next. Thanks for the suggestions!
