Forex stands for foreign exchange. Currency or forex or FX market exists wherever one currency is traded for another. It is by far the largest financial market in the world, and includes trading between large banks, central banks, currency speculators, multinational corporations, governments, and other financial markets and institutions. The average daily trade in the global forex markets currently exceeds US$ 2 trillion. Retail traders (individuals) are a small fraction of this market and may only participate indirectly through brokers or banks.
Currencies are always traded in pairs, such as EUR/USD, GBP/USD, etc. Why ? Because when you trade forex, you are exchanging 1 currency to another currency simultaneously (buying 1 currency and selling the other at the same instance). You will gain from differences of traded currency price rates.
In other to get success in Forex trading, you have to be expert in predicting currencies movement. Correct prediction will help you make correct decision. There two method analytical in predicting currencies movement, that is Fundamental analytical and Technical analytical. You may choose one of them or combine both.
To start Forex trading, you need:
1. A Personal Computer (and PDA, optional and preferable)
2. Stable and high speed internet connection
3. Limited equity (for example $1000) or you can start for $1 only in marketiva since they give you $5 real money for free.
4. Reliable, reputable and trusted online forex broker. E-toro and marketiva is kind of forex broker.
After you are registered in Forex broker, you have to learn about forex terminology, analytical method and practice it with virtual money before you are ready to use real money. I suggest you to learn forex here: http://www.babypips.com/.
Well, there are much thing you have to learn and I can't explain here. You may learn forex by your self. Just remember, don't trade forex by your intuition otherwise, you just bet your money there. Good Luck!

Well, you need more money than $2, you're right, it's about trading in global currencies market. You needed at-least $50 or something to start with.
Well, I am not doing Forex, currently but tend to do it soon, it seems that you're from India, are you familiar with the Share Market I mean to say Stock Market? If yes, then there won't be any difficulties to get familiar with Forex, it's needed that you must have knowledge about it's basic principles.
