the irony of luca toni

what a irony for luca toni. he want to move to roma because want to show his performance for lippi to be one of the italy player in this world cup. but he can not convince lippi mind and opinions. i think luca toni play good and bring roma can achieve number 2 in last season. so why lippi doesnt call him?any reason?

I think Luca Toni missed out due to his spell in Bayern where he found it difficult to break into the first team. He also fell out with Van Gaal and that made things worse for him. Belatedly he did make his move to Roma to enhance his chances, but by then it was too late for him to impress Lippi. Cheers! Ram

ya, one words i can give conclusion about it, he was too late to impress lippi. thats why (main factor) in my mind. thanks ram

he is old guys but he can give contribution for italy in world cup.so whats fault if toni is old?
