Lexi - This is Lexi the cat who leapt through an open window to avoid the snip

I read a funny story this morning about a cat called Lexi. His owner took him and a female cat to the vets, the female to be neutered and Lexi to be castrated. But it seems that Lexi was not too keen on losing his manhood and he escaped by jumping through an open window!! Sadly it is not all that funny as Lexi has still not returned home - do you think he may be sowing his wild oats while he can!!!!

I have a feeling he is! I have a very similar story about a dog I used to have. This fella was half border collie, half English shepherd, quite a handsome fellow. He weighed about 60 pounds so he wasn't a small dog like the ones I have now (Maltese). I could not afford to get him neutered until he was two years old but, as soon as I could, I made the appointment. The day before he was scheduled to go in, he jumped the fence in the backyard. He had NEVER jumped it before, not even tried to my knowledge. He was gone for a few hours and I was worried sick. He finally came home and seemed to be grinning. I just called him a bad boy and, the next day, he went in and had his surgery. About a month later, a neighbor came to my house to let me know that my dog was going to be a daddy. She said that Jake (my dog) had, uhh, visited her dog last month while she was in heat. She had five adorable puppies. Luckily, it wasn't necessary for me to take any of them. I had two other dogs at the time, plus a couple of cats so my hands were quite full enough. It really seemed as though Jake knew what was about to happen so he grabbed the opportunity to spread his seed before he had no seed to spread. Bad dog!

Oh, I wish I had had a camera when my neighbor brought the puppies down to my house so I could see them. Jake's face was quite a picture! He went over to the puppies, sniffed them, then gave me a look like he wanted to be anywhere but right there. If he could have spoken, I would have heard, "HELP!"
