The iPhone 4, which is due for release June 24, 2010, is the next 4th generation in Apple's iPhone. By the looks of it, it seems that the iPhone is finally getting some things that jailbroken iPods and iPhones have had before, such as multi-tasking and video recording. What do you thing the iPhone 4 lacks or isn't necessary for it? Before you answer that question, let's take a look at some new features it has: -5 megapixel camera -HD video recording (720p) -front facing camera for "FaceTime" vid conferencing -960 x 640 pix display -longer battery life (FINALLY!) -LED flash -multitasking What about the memory? -comes in either 16GB or 32GB -256MB of RAM So what do you think about the iPhone 4? Is it worth it? Will you be buying it?

the new iphone also has a better display. 326 megapixles per inch which is a little more than the eye.(300 px)

Yeah, I have never understood that "pixels per inch" thing or whatever. But this iPhone also has an 800 : 1 contrast ratio.

Think of pixels per inch like this... each individual pixel is a single dot containing all colors. If you are trying to create a clear image with smooth lines and bright colors, the best way to do that would be to combine a whole bunch of small dots together, as opposed to not as many larger dots. The more small pixels you have, the sharper the image because you can continue to zoom in before starting to actually see them.

I doubt i can buy it but it sees really cool. But one thing i dont like about this is that the OS software is only available to people with iphone 3g/3gs and people with the itouch 3g

well the issue is that the devices are not able to handle the new operating systems... the older iPhones and iTouches simply could not run the same OS as the iPhone 4 and iPad because they were not designed to

I believe that the iPhone 4 is just right for now. I believe that Apple didn't bump up to 64GB and 32GB model only so that they could maintain the price of the phone. I am very excited to upgrade especially with the very gorgeous screen of the new model. I just simply hate the pixelated screen of the current iPhone. I am also happy that it is slimmer even if I don't like the design that much.

I will defiantly be pre ordering the iPhone 4 on the 15th of this month. I started out with the iPhone 3G 2 years ago, and specifically held off on the 3GS because I had a feeling something bigger would be coming. There are more new features than anyone could dream of on a phone... and for only 199$ for the 16GB, it will be well worth it.

Mutlitasking will definately be one of the biggest highlights, it is another step for the iphone to become bigger and better. I still think the iphone needs flash, but I think it is worth getting
