As parents, we are responsible to send our children to school. We are dreaming that one day, they will become a doctor, engineer, lawyer or whatever. But sometimes, there are children do not want to go to school. How would you motivate your kids to study?

Motivating children to srudy may seem to be a hard task for parents especially in their growing years. Most kids are exposed to the television, computer games and other activities that may lure them away from studying. Communicate with your child. Tell them the importance of studying. You could tell them your own experiences as students from the past. You could also set a time for play and time for studying. Teach your children how to manage their time so that they could still enjoy doing activities they want to do without sacrificing their studies.

I still dont have my own kids but i have lots of nephews and niece most of the times when i want them to study their lessons and assingments i try to insert some ideas bout their favorite cartoon character.I like teaching them and in a way playing as well so that they wont be bored and that they will be in a way motivated with what they are trying to learn. I teacher of mine told me when i was still in highschool that in order to effectively teach toddlers you need to get their attention and make your lessons much more interesting and the only way that i can think of is to include their favorite cartoon characters in every situation that i teach them. And as far as i know my technique is quite effective for them.

Reward system. You can give them prizes when they get good grades or completed their assignment early. According to the seminar I have attended, you need to first train the kids then the system will run on them. It will be automatic. We just need to be consistent in instilling the discipline.

my parents give prices to challenge us... in my siblings time, they can only get the things they want and they can only have those delicious chocolates during graduation if they are honor students.. that time, my family is still struggling financially... so my siblings can only have those stuff as rewards from studying.. if they wish for something, they have to earn it from studying... by the way, im the youngest, 8 years gap from my older sister and the 3 of them only have a year gap.. so i have a different life from them... lol anyway, in my time, my parents do the same thing too.. im happy when i have a hundred score.. my dad would buy that test paper from me... my mom would also take time to tutor me specially math and english... my sis would help with my pronunciation and diction... i guess it all helped...
