anyone here a law student? maybe we can be friends and share materials. I'm on my 4th year now and a little tense about finishing my degree. I hope to gather all the materials and references I will soon need.

Hi there! Where do you study? I'm also on my 4th year, but under a 5-year program for working students.

I'm going to try that as well when I transfer to another law school that caters for working professionals. My current school treats everybody as undergrads so I'm a disappointed customer right now.

Our university (Arellano University School of Law) could just be the perfect school for you. I am enrolled in a program for working students. Professors, administrators and employees treat us as professionals, which is what we really are. However, no one can expect leniency. We also go through the same trail as that of non-working students. That kind of training is needed to keep us in the arena.

I'm in Cebu City so migrating to Metro Manila is not that easy. I'm currently in University of San Carlos. And I'm disappointed. It seems that my school is trying to be a better Ateneo so we are somehow caught in the crossfire of vain ambitions. Result: I feel like I'm the one working for the school rather than the other way around.

I'm in law school as well, but I'm on a one year sabbatical because I'm disappointed with my school. Anyway, I'm taking the time to prepare for the bar exam as early as now. My plan is to create my own "learning system" and organize my study materials online. Being dependent on the whims of lawyers and judges in law school is not my idea of effective learning. I believe there is a better way--a less stressful approach to learn law.

Oops. I'm still a sophomore, but I didn't enroll last semester.

Well, this online resource for law student is one of my web projects. I've been thinking/planning the site since 2007. As a web programmer and online publisher, I think it's plausible to create something that will rival lawphil.net in popularity in the next five years.

I'm also planning to do the same. I integrate my books, materials and lecture notes into electronic documents for easy editing and greater convenience. I will do that when I already become a lawyer, and that's going to be one of my "pay-it-forward" commitments.
