What a game! What a series! and I Have to say it, I Was Right! I did say Hawks in 6! they saved the best hockey for last. it was a great series. Did you enjoy the Final?

I enjoyed it a lot. Chicago deserves to win the Cup. The run of the play reminded me of the Olympic gold medal game. Opposition scores late in the game, semi-deflates team yet they could muster inner strength and score a goal from the same shooting area. Kane's goal was reminiscent of the Crosby goal.
Also, Chicago breaks their 49 year jinx.

And it was the end of the Hossa curse! I am a loyal fan. if a player joins the Red Wings at least once and then gets traded to any other team other than the Flyers and the Avs , I root for him always. I was so glad to see Hossa hoist The Cup.

I'm still watching replays to see if the puck really did went in! For a moment there nobody knew that the game, the series, the season has ended, except for Patrick Kane. Great for him that he could have this limelight after his taxi-incident in Buffalo last year. Great also that another young captain in Toews is hoisting the cup. It makes for a younger and better league.
