Craigslist is great for finding work, or workers

Since the recession my bf has been laid off and we have been struggling and scrounging for paying work to make our bills and groceries. A few months ago in desperation I placed skilled trades ads on Craigslist for my bf with his trade, wallpapering, myself, housecleaning and computer work, and for a couple of friends for hauling, landscape maintenance, hauling and moving. Each of us has gotten more than one paying job in response to our services offered posting. If you need extra money or extra work to make the ends meet and you have a skill or service to offer I recommend placing an ad with your local Craigslist page. Increasing your exposure and the number of people who know the skills and experience that you have to offer certainly can't hurt if you are looking for work and find yourself in need of cash. Be honest about your experience, references, and skill, back it up by doing the neccessary work well and for the price that you quoted the customer and you may be surprised how many people there are out there who are looking for someone with exactly your knowledge and skills. If they like the job that you do for them you also may be surprised at the number of people that they know who could also use your services. I know that placing such a free ad on crigslist has helped me and my friends. So I thought that I would put it out there for my online friends too. Maybe some of you can think of something that you do or that you know that can be posted on craigslist right now, or you can recommend placing an ad to a friend. What I do know is that it really does work.
