At what age you have started to use cell phone?

I was 17 years old when I first bought my mobile which was a Nokia, I was using mobile before that too but it was not mine, but for my sister so it started at the age of 16 when she lend me. It was fun at that time, I learn many new things in it and today I have some two mobiles which are kept in the office desk at home, I hardly use them now as I got a new one.

I used my first phone when I was 14. I was so excited about using a phone then, cuz not many people had them. After a while, the excitement kind of wore off and now I just use it for convenience. My parents gave me my first phone I think. :)

I got my first cell phone when I was 18 years old. It was back in 1989. I don't even remember what model it was but I do remember it being huge. I got it the day after my 18th birthday.

I got my first mobile phone when i was 13 it was to be used to let my parents know if i was going to be late coming back from school. I bought it myself as my parents always said if you want something work for it.

I first started using a cell/mobile phone when I was 17... I bought it myself, and had a friend show me how to use it as I had no clue... now though I am never without it, as it is my lifeline if I am not at home. And I am more up with technology now, although I hate the new touchscreens, thats just too advanced for me

I got my own cellphone when I was 22 and I've had once ever since. Prior to that I used to own a pager. During those times cellphones were bulky and had bases. No SMS yet in those days. Ah, the good old days.... lol!

I was twelve when I got my first cellphone. My mother got it for me because she leaves earlier than me in the morning and she wants to know that I got to school alright. She would call me every morning to make sure I had woken up and was going to school. At first I only used it to communicate with her but after awhile, I used it to contact friends and family and then it became like a part of my life.

I never had any use for a cellphone until just a few years ago. I was in my 50's when I got my first phone. I know that sounds like being late in life to get one, but I wasn't about to buy one when I didn't need one. Now, that I am living alone since I am divorced, I won't be without it, as it is the only phone I have, so I do need it everyday, especially during the week. I would certainly be lost without it.
