well the fifa world cup is on,and many artists have come with their versions of the theme songs, and i have listened to many of them, well i found the theme song by k'naan which is the wave song the most hummable one and the most catchy also, also it's bilingual, but when i listened to waka waka by shakira ,i found it only mediocre, and the theme song by akon "oh africa" was ordinary only,so,what do you think ,which is your pick of the above lot?for me it's the wave song all the way!

well i agree that theme song of 98 was g8t,but,once a peak is reached,it's really difficult,to outdo it or even match it,even if it doesn't reach the 98 levels, still it's better than 2002 and 2006 wc theme songs, isn't it?yes,it is,and i really like listening to it atleast thrice a day man!

I actually loved the song of K'naan which has nice rythm to it. It was almost like a Bollywood song in it's tune and is very catchy as you pointed out. Waka waka by Shakira is a good dance number, but the song itself is ordinary and lacks the punch or should we say the kick!! Cheers! Ram

well its of course N'kaan is the pick of the world fifa governing body and so do of all music and football lovers. whats interesting about this song is that it may not seem direct but it is representing all nation in this world cup. i creates an inspiration among players and viewers just as chak de india song. its just pick of the earth.

Ye defenetly wave song is the best. At first when I heard the beggining I thought oh my god its coca-cola song, but later it goes good. Coca-cola is the main representer - so its natural that they used that melody.
