Have you ever had a bad virus from surfing on the net?

yeah I had alot, Even though I was using norton and it told me everyting was fine. I had Zlob, CWS some Downloaders and others, (mostly because other people used my computer though)

There are different kind of virus that do different kind of thing to your computer.Some virus reboot you computer whenever you try to boot it, some try to eat your system files without you knowing, some take a hold of your email id and send mail in which virus was attached, some try to infect you USB drive like VBS script virus, some disable every system application like task manager with taking hold of whole computer.I just saw a virus which a msg is apear saying your computer is being shut down in 24 min and its also play sound like laughing.If the persons computer is infected for too long the the only way is to format his or her PC with the OS CD.And if the PC infected recently then an Anti virus caould help him not just anti virus but an antispywere is also needed.Just install and let it take care of your PC.But rember you should have some internet connection to update the anti virus.

I also did. I remember I got that virus from opening some paid emails on my mailbox. That's because I just had finished reformatting my pc and forgotten to install the anti-virus yet, LOL.. But it's amazing, the effect of virus happen for a couple of days. But then, it's annoying that I had to reboot again.

I caught a virus on my laptop and I had to rebot my entire latop and erase everything.
