Home sickness is what you are experiencing and it happens to people who are forced to stay away from their home for studies or job. This is normal and will be present until you get accommodated with the new environment. Soon after that, you will not be going home, even if your parents beg to.

Yes, I do know how you feel. I only get to visit home once per year over the christmas holidays and I know it can be pretty hard. This is where you need to find your own feet in life and learn to be that little bit more independent. It is natural to miss those people who have offered you security for many years, but you have to try and get over this and try and throw yourself into something new. Meet new people and keep yourself busy and the time will fly by and before you know it you will be seeing them again. I know there is no point in telling you to have regular phone conversations or to chat on the internet because I know it is just not the same as seeing them in the flesh. Keep smiling and don't worry, try to enjoy your little bit of parent free independence :)

I can imagine but it muat be much worse. I live in Europe and English is not even my first language but my neighbor decided to go to university in London so he'll also be away from parents soon. I would never go. Try not to think how much you miss them try to imagine how it would be same as before after like two days at your home.
