I recently encountered a video of an Arabic Islamic (apparently now she converted to christianity?) woman who suggest Arab mens should harras Jewish girls in their "battle" over "Palestine". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nDqWGtykYNE I find this ABSOLUTELY disguisting. I find the fact that Muslims did not go against that woman, that they did not try to go against what she says, disturbing. And Disturbing too nice word for it. This woman who claims to be "Human rights activist Attorney" suggest people to go against humans right. This is sickening, and I no longer have the slightest faith in Muslims when they tell me that their religion is of peace.

All religions must have the same goal, namely that human beings doing something right. Religion is not to blame, but those who embrace a religion. I strongly believe that all religions are good, I respect all religions. That is not good is the person, not a religion.

"I find the fact that Muslims did not go against that woman, that they did not try to go against what she says, disturbing." Egypt: Uproar as Lawyer Suggests Raping Israeli Women: "Nagla Al Imam, a lawyer and head of a human rights organization, invited Arab youth to sexually harass and rape Israeli women as a form of resistance … and then we wonder why the West accuses us of backwardness and terrorism … if this is how the head of an NGO thinks, then what would an average citizen be like?" "(leave it to MEMRI to feature the stupidest, ugliest things said on TV in Arabic, ignoring the condemnation). I tried to ignore this, hoping it was her last cry for attention" http://globalvoicesonline.org/2008/11/23/egyptian-lawyer-nagla-al-imam-suggests-arab-men-should-sexually-harass-israeli-women-and-declares-leave-the-land-so-we-wont-rape-you/ Seems like she would say or do anything to get attention or her name in the headlines, no doubt her conversion to Christianity has gotten her a lot of attention that she seems to like. Seems to me that a lot of Egyptians were not happy with her view points by that website they think she is a media drama queen willing to do anything to get her name in the spotlight.

"Egypt ain't an Islamic country": Egypt is predominantly Islam, with Muslims comprising up to 95% of a population.

The leadership isn't Islamic like Iran, so the country is "secular".

Egypt ain't an Islamic country, however this woman is an ex-islamic person; This is what I find disturbing, that only secular Arabic country say something against her, but I don't hear anything being said from the religious groups.

i have lots of muslim friends and they're good. i guess it depends on every individuals personality.if he's a war freak then it will be like that forever. islam is not bad it's the people behind it. i just don't understand that many muslim people are involved in numerous murders and many sorts of crime.

Yes,you are right. These are just individual actions which Islam never permits. So why Islam to be blamed for such individual actions or crimes ??

Does this mean that you have no respect for Christianity because of the Ku Klux Klan, every single member of which is a Christian and asserts that their Christianity demands they act as they do? If not, you're a hypocrite.

No, because I do see Christian organizations against some of those crimes I listed. If you have a name of an Islamic organization that goes against these crimes, you're welcome to share; then maybe I'll respect it a little.

Okay, to be honest- I was trying to create an interesting debate between pro-peacefull Islam to those who says Islam ain't peacefull, hence- the provocative headline. Seems like I had failed to receive it; either everyone immediately agree with me or immediately said I'm busted/hypocrite. Discussions are ment for discussing, thats how I see it at least. I hope next time there will be a debate where people will feel more fierce about proving me I'm wrong. Think about it... Anyways, guess it's my time to go sleep.

You have to present a coherent point before people can try to prove you wrong. I mean... some whack job says whack stuff and even the newscaster is asking her if she really means the crap she's spewing and you need Imams and Mullahs to take her seriously enough to bother condemning her? Really?

It must be the individual opinion of this woman. I don't know why there was no outcry from the members of Muslim community. I do find certain paragraph on Jihad in Quran disturbing.

I respect people for who they are, and if someone is a good person I will respect him. But its difficult to judge people by who they are when they don't go against those from their religion who dare to spew such ugly words. I think that if they really cared about Islam being a peaceful religion, they should have fought all those vile things.

not a very good suggestion from that woman. She is not in the first place a human rights activists..she's a liar. They always say they want peace but they are the ones who always wants to war. Children are so pathetic because they cannot do the things a normal kid should do.

Herro jimeny Thank you for your discussion. I learned some things about the Muslims I did not know. However, a true Muslim is a peaceable person. It is the Taliban and other offshoots that give the religion a bad name. In fact, it is not the religion that we form some of our opinions on, it is the people who claim the religion. Prosperous mylotting

Thanks for your reply; I appriciate the honesty. Though, what I was trying to say that if Muslims claim these people do not represent their religion, shouldn't they at least protest against them? I don't see any Islamic protest against the rockets and missiles that are being launched toward cities in my country daily... yet I do see an absurd rage amount from Muslims world-wide when my country dare to prtotect itself. And what this woman said... this was "the straw that broke the camel's back."

I am sorry I can not agree with you.You can not blame Islam for misdeeds of any Muslims as these are just individual actions. And let me tell you Islam is the religion of future and the religion of peace.....It has to enter each house, village, town, city and continent one day.Certainly you will never find good attributes of this religion in world media. That's why it is the most misunderstood religion in this world. So please never lose your last respect to it......as it is the religion of your coming generations.

Okay, but if I'd blame Muslim leaders, people like the christian pope, wouldn't it be like blaming the religion itself? It might be just the code of honor that is so common in the Middle East and the Islam's origins countries that is by far different from the west morality code.

You have the right to judge so. We, Muslims, commanded by our God, argue only in wise and proper way. No sweat for convincing an ingrained hater. Your statement wont stop America from welcoming more and more converts to Islam.

How am I busted may I ask? I don't see Muslim organiztions protesting against what she said, I also don't see Muslim organizations protest against the Taliban killing a 7 year old boy for being a "spy".. I don't see Muslim organizations protest agains women being killed by the Taliban for walking on the wrong side of the rode; or for not being modest enough, I don't see Muslim organizations protesting against the Genocide in Darfur, I don't see Muslim organizations protesting against the Genocide of the Armenians, I don't see Muslim organizations crying about the occupation in Cyprus, I don't see Muslim organizations peotesting against the murders of girls that were raped and accused of "dis-honoring" their family, I don't see Muslim organizations Protesting against Turkey for still killing Kurds... the list can go on and on, but yet, ALL I can see that Muslim do cry about- is when Israel dare to kill 9 terrorists who were pretending to be "humanitarians". Feel free to comment on my mistakes.

The Taliban are connected to AlQaeda, is Osama Bin Laden American or Jewish? I don't think so; Those people in the Taliban converted to Islam, so they can't be called Jews anymore. They can be called Americans, though they are against America so I'm pretty sure they can't enter the USA.

i really wonder , if some lunatic Arab harasses some Jewish girl why the blame is given to Islam does any were in quran it is said that a Muslim should harass non-Muslims but i do remember a verse in quran which says a Muslim can marry a Jew or a christian (surah 5 verse 5)without conversion i don't know why you are singling out only this indecent Arabs harass every employ they get from India or Bangladesh or from any part of the world and they are Muslims ,see, a Muslim harassing another Muslim btw , why singling out Arabs , lot of people all over the world doing this , even in US there are stories about enslavement of employees by their employer even in Iraq, US army is harassing innocent Muslim civilians so this is not because of religion , this is purely belongs to an individual if some one really follows at least 25% of Islam , he will be down to earth simple human
