It's enrollment time again in our university..It's such a tiring process because of the long lines..The people who process the enrollment are really slow in doing the transactions..They don't care about the students who are waiting in a very LONG line because they are comfortable inside the office with airconditioners while the students wait outside dealing with the heat..Our school are now using a computerized system of enrollment but the process is still slow..I think it's even slower than when they had the manual system of enrollment..Errors in enrollment also take place..Some students who have a acquired a slot in their college come to the encoding section without any slot anymore because they're full..The college and the encoding department don't coordinate with each other very well..

The enrollment process at my college is a stressful process too. They set up an appointment time for each student so not everyone would rush to the office at once but it's still long lines. I have all the classes I like plus back-up classes (almost 6) and they are always full. Every time. For the three times I've done this last year. Not one of my favorit college memories.

I totally agree! This is the reason why I don't want to be enrolled right away. The long queues outside the cashier is like a traffic jam! Students tend to flare up and the boiling points have reached it's maximum level. I hope the school administration will realize and put more cashiers to lessen the line and to make the whole process faster and easier.

well our school is big and they allot one day for maybe 10 courses and its for the whole day. I have also experienced those long lines but their is always a technique with enrollment in our school which is come late. dont know why but people here are not tardy when it comes to enrollment and they will go there as early as possible. Well i go in the afternoon where there are basically no lines, not tired, angered or whatsoever.

During my college days, i had the same annoying experience of falling in line under the longest line with a scorching heat of the sun streaming along the canopy of our registration area. By the time you reach the counter the in charge break time, i had this kind of experience i wanted to shout but i zip my mouth. Looking back at it, it teaches me to have more patience and lessen my tactless behavior. I re visit my university this week, they are more modern now because you can enroll online. No more waiting time at the office of the secretary. No matter how things are in our everyday existence you learn something from it.

Yeah, it is a tiring process. There are about 6-8 procedures that you must undergo to get enrolled in the school. The process is just like before and it is even getting worst now. In order not to make students getting tired in the enrollment, the schools should provide a possible solutions before the date of the enrollment.

hello.. all these processing in college enrollment are just almost the same in high school enrollment but we can not say that people who process the enrollment are really slow in fact they are very cooperative as far as my experience is concern.. i observe that students who have former problems with their schools last year are the one who makes the process long and errors are not a mortal sin.. this take place cos they are just human and do you think if u are in their position you will like to be blame for this long lines? how many students in every school here in our country? even we are in computer age still humans are the one operating the system anyway just take this as challenge for all the students for them to practice their PATIENCE.. it took place..

Yeah you're so right. I don't really understand why universities having computerized systems still give a hard time to students especially during enrollment. As you mentioned, we have to wait in a very LONG time (tell me about it), and when its your turn already, at some point you have to wait again. I just enrolled a few days ago and it took me 3 days just for me to be enrolled. To think, I only have 4 subjects this semester and it took me so long to wait for my schedule. Universities should really do some big changes because it is discouraging and S0 TIRING.Best of luck

I have also experienced that on my college enrollment days. Indeed it is tiring, I can't even finish my enrollment in 1 day because of the long lines. And I remember in my first year, I get confuse with the different offices that I have to pay. But at least these days they use priority numbers to avoid the long lines. You can rest or get some snacks while waiting for your number to be called.

me too it's really tiring and so hot. before you can pay your tuition fee you still have to endure the sweltering heat outside and you're all sweaty after it. but at least it's a lot better now than before when it is really slow.
