Hi
I keep reading posts were you all describe some lovely types of foods that you eat in the Philippines.
I am a real 'foodie' and love everything to do with food ( especially eating it!!)
I was wondering if you had any recipes that I may be able to make here in the UK providing I could get the ingredients her.
I do hope I get some good suggestions!!

hi oldchem. i love cooking and baking but i don't write my recipes for i adjust depending on for how many people is going to eat.
i searched the net and i found these two sites which i hope to help you.

the second site has the recipe of kare-kare which is one of my favorite dishes. in kare-kare, you may change the meat depending on your preference. you may use chicken, pork or beef. just check the sites.

Hi...I like Filipino foods too but I don't know how to cook or make most of them so whenever I visit Philippines I just eat all those delicious foods they have there. This link should be enough for your reference...just look at the right column of the page and good luck! :)

One of my favorites is the pansit palabok. I think I gotta go and get that for lunch from the Filipino restaurant near here. I suddenly crave it now. lol
