Newsweek has posted an article bashing Cheney for not weighing in on the oil spill. I think we all know Cheney is an oil man. He worked for Halliburton, this is no secret, before being Bush's VP.
They point out Cheney's connection to laws concerning drilling and that his former press secretary is now spokesperson to BP.
When Cheney chimes in regarding National Security, people want him to shut up. Now that he is being quiet, with good reason, people are complaining.
That people are trying to turn this disaster into a conspiracy, while laughable, is pathetic.
So, instead of Bush being at fault, now Cheney is? I wish they would make up their minds....

Do you think Cheney should be speaking up? If so, what should he be saying?

No I don't want to hear Cheney's opinion. As much as I couldn't stand Bush I thank God that man never got to be president his views are so narcissistic and extreme than it is insane. I mean really does anyone think he is going to give BP a hard time?

Maybe they are just hoping to give the man another chance to shoot himself in the foot (or his friends in the face).
