Who is willing to spend the night in a line for a video game system?

I have two friends in line @ Best Buy right now. They have not slept since the night before last for fear of people cutting in front of them. The police had to control a potential riot this morning and are still there on patrol. I heard stories of people being held at gunpoint over their Xbox 360s last year. Sure I want a PS3. But do I need one RIGHT NOW? No. I can wait. The sad thing is that there are rumored to be 24 units available at this store yet there are 100 people in line, wrapped around the building. Some will wait for two days only to go home empty handed.

Wow. It is amazing what people will do to get their hands on a videogame system that could have defects or flaws in them. I will wait til later when things are worked out and when the price has dropped.

Yes, it is unreal and you will not find me out there. Many of those people will be in line and not even get a system because there is not enough. I would rather have a computer for that amount than a game system. You are right that people will put those up on Ebay and try and make a killing off of it.

I would not waste my time in line either, especially knowing that I may not get one anyways since there is a limited amount in stock.

Good for you as it is ridiculous that they charge so much for a game system that we do not know if it has flawas or not. I will wait til the price drops or stick to computer games. I could get a decent new computer for that price. :-)

If I was wealthy I may do but I am not so I will not be out there waiting with all those other gamers. Thare are more things important to me than playing video games.

A lot of people are buying them and reselling them on ebay for a higher amount to make a profit.
