Gosh!! It's certainly a very nice feeling each time we had helped somebody. This sense of wellbeing uplift us and radiate joy within us. Although, those good deeds may seems small but they can add up to a legacy of caring that will always be treasured by us and others whom we had helped. Most of the time, we do not ask for anything in return but somehow good things will happened in our life unexpectedly. Do you believe is doing good deeds?

Yes, I always believe in doing good deeds. I have told my friends that doing good deeds is giving ourselves benefit over long term. Just like how we practice with healthy diet, we won't see the effect by just taking one or two days of nutritious food. Therefore, doing good deeds as a habit will help us keeping ourselves happy and thus healthy. It conforms to the law of attraction, where it says when we are happy, we will attract more good things to us. This is kind of indirect way of 'reward' to us for doing good deeds. People might argue that how true this is and there is no scientific proof. And I always told them that something not discovered by science doesn't mean it does not exist. Electricity and gravity exist in this universe long before human discovered it. So doing good deeds will help us one day, in an unknowing way, although we are not sure how it work exactly.

Thank you, cheongyc. You have given a very interesting, truthful and logical reply. Yes, you are right. Doing good deeds is part of our practice in maintaining good health. It gives us a sense of wellbeing, positive thinking, strong mental power, light and energetic. Doing good deeds do not need to be scientifically proven but needs practice and experience. It is when you practise then only you can realise the secret of doing good deeds. It also conforms to the law of attraction as you have mentioned. The mind actually controls our body systems. Once the mind is conditioned with good thoughts, the body will function well, filled with happiness, peace and thus a healthy body. You will sleep very well once your mind is clear and calm. The merits you accumulate by doing good deeds will bring benefits beyond words in this world as well as the next world. Thanks so much again. Happy posting.

You are most welcome and thanks for agreeing with me. I believe that our mind are connected in ways more than we all know. As what you said, if it's conditioned in the right state by having satisfaction through acts of doing good deeds, then it will somehow trigger our internal body mechanism to function well and thus keep our body healthy. All this while, I have been trying to do good deeds. The very first step is to help others whenever they need our assistance.

I do appreciate your response. Thanks so much. The brain indeed control all our body function. This is explained why stroke patients with a blood clot in their brain blood vessels can't move certain part of their body. Bye. I need to go because I am on call now.

Hi ketping8889, there are lots of stories which we have read as well as the religious stories telling us, good and fortunate things would be happened in the future if one has done good deeds to others. In our Chinese society there is a popular saying, a good act will be well rewarded whereas doing evil will be rewarded with evil. But it's rather sad that though we are cultivate with this since young there are still countless criminal cases happen every now an then. Might be the pursue of personal wealth and fame as well as the greed would cause one to lose his sense and kindness. Really, I always feel happy after helping someone. It's a great pleasure to see others feeling happy after the problem they face is solved. Yeah, the feeling of giving is better than taking. We would be much happier if we do good deed genuinely, not for the sake of hoping to get any well reward in the coming future Happy posting
