Is it legal to work more than 6 consecutive days in a row. How about working 9?

Is working this many days in a row without a day of rest illegal in canada?Someome i know had to work this much.

Silver King, I can honestly answer you YES! it is legal, however, there are stipulations, and they vary from province to province. I know in Alberta, you can waive your 1 day off per week, for up to 4 weeks, and then take them all at the same time, that is the minimum legal requirement. Many companies offer more then one day off per week, and that is just going above and beyond. You can find all your answers to these questions at http://www.gov.ab.ca/labor, or you can substitute, the ab, for the province of your choice.
