Fruit or Veggies

Since I've started feeding my son more baby foods I've been introducing them to him one at a time like the doctor said, to make sure he's not allergic.
He has had carrots, sweet potatoes, apple, banana, pears, squash, and green peas.
The funny thing is that out of everything he has eaten, he likes carrots and green peas the best. I thought he would like the fruit best because it is sweeter.
He HATED the squash and wasn't much for the pears either.
What foods do your babies like best?

My larger grandchildren like most foods. My little granddaughter is just starting on food. Her mother has started giving her bananas, just smashing with a little milk. The big kids are so excited for her.
The squash is probably a learned flavor. I remember the first granddaughter did not care for it, but loved the sweet potatoes. To me they taste about the same.

Whenever I eat squash I eat it sliced and fried. I can understand why my son didn't like the pureed version. I LOVE sweet potato though. It doesn't taste much like squash to me, but I have a hard time telling sweet potato and pumpking apart.
