How does paypal work at China?

So, I am just curious, how does paypal work at China. I have been to China a couple of times, and some of Chinese local bank won't do the direct deposit like we does in the States. So, the only way to get you money is through paypal, either they send the check to you, or else method? Can any Chinese mylotters enlighten me how does it work out?

Yeah, it's much more inconvenient to get money out of Paypal in China than in US or other countries. :) I wish someday it'll be.
Some Chinese people may choose to deposit in a Hongkong account, which is available. And there are a list of services which can extrange the US dollars in Paypal to RMB in another online money system, like ZHIFUBAO in China. Through them, you can get money. But that's kind of risky. You need to ensure those services won't cheat you.

Paypal can do remittance by telegram to our accounts in several Chinese banks, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC), China Merchants Bank and China Construction Bank. But we must pay $35 for it, that's really terrible!
Or we can get our money through Hong Kong banks, but I don't know how to operate now.
It's far from the day I have to consider this problem now.

wow, you have to pay $35 RMB or in dollars? I just don't understand would it be beneficial for Chinese users by making money from mylot. I knew some Chinese banks won't accept international banking, or direct deposit. It just made me curious about it. Thanks for your answer.

I don't understand it very much. The money can be transferred to China from foreign countries. As long as you have a bank account in China. It is not a problem. Or if you have a foreign bank credit or debit card, you can also withdraw money from ATM in China. But you can not withdraw foreign money, it will be converted to Chinese currency automatically. It is very easy to have a bank account in China. I think this is the best way for you to get money from overseas. Or you can send money by West Union. You can get the money from the post office or a bank.
