Have You Ever Had People You Know That Just Walk In Without Knocking?

I've known people like this and currently know someone who does this that's a friend of my sisters. I've told her not to just walk in the house without knocking. I would hate to lock my door during the day just to keep people from walking in. I would never do something like this because I have manners and respect for peoples property.

I know a lot of people like this. They just barge into someone's room or house without any warning or permission. I'd like to teach them a lesson or two by slashing them with my lightsaber.

what tha? you haven't heard of the movie Starwars? the movie held the record for selling the most movie tickets ever at movie theaters for over a good decade. that is until the movie Titanic came along and they extended how long it was at the movie theaters just so it could break the record of selling the most movie tickets ever(some favor there). use a search engine and look up starwars and all kinds of information will come up. i'm really surprised you used the word lightsaber and you don't know about the movie Starwars.(no offense but i'm really surprised)

As a general rule I would never just walk into someone's house without knocking. And I really don't want someone to walk into my house without knocking. However, I have had some friends and we were all so close that we would just walk into each other's houses..but we were really close friends!

We do, but most of the time we can see them coming up the ramp, through our door. It doesn't bother me most of the time.

I wouldn't ever do that either, even when I go to my mother's house, I knock on her door first before I go in, its just out of respect. I would hope other people would have that kind of respect too.

Hi Elmiko, It is manners to knock, I do know some people who say to me no needto knock just come in but I always knock anyway, they could be on the toilet or in the bath or something. I think it rude tojust walk in too. Noteven close family would do this, although my daughters no longer live at home and one has a key they will always still knock first bless. Huggles. Ellie :D

hi elmiko my own mom used to do this all the time but one morning she got a lot more than she bargained for. My hubby got amorous and pulled me into our bedroom.our little girl was down for a nap, and our son was in school. So just a bit after the crucial moment the bedroom door opened, and there was mom seeing us in our bare skinned splendor. She gasped, her face crimson, "well I never". My hubby buried his face in the pillows, darn he was laughing at her. I got dressed super quickly and followed her in to the living room. I tried to soothe her and explain what had just happened. She went" well seems to me an odd time to be making whoopee?" I stifled my laugh, and she went on" with your little daughter here" I said,"mom shes asleep" She again said," well I never" and it popped out "maybe you should have, might have made daddy smile more often." Then I did suggest that in order to avoid embarrassment and not finding us at home at times. she just call first.

Hi elmiko! No, I don't have people walking into my home without knocking! I don't even like people coming over without calling! I finally got my friends to call first before coming over, and that included the ones living right here in the neighborhood! I think that is beyond rude! People don't like it to be done to them! It is disrespectful to just enter someones home without knocking or ringing a doorbell no matter how close a friend you are!

Family does this sometimes, but we have dogs in the house and it's very hard to get by them. I don't do this because I don't want any one to be embarassed.

There are more people like who just don't care about basic manners. They enter right royal into anybodies house without caring whether they will be welcome at that moment. I have one of my father's friend like that and he will not mind to peep through the window if the door is locked.

Yes.. Almost everyone here in the house is like that. It's just a very small house so you can't prevent it. :( And our doors couldn't be locked, because there is no lock.
