Now who's afraid?

Of course i am talking about the solar storm... i guess it's the first world countries which are the number one affected on it? Because they are the one who are relying on high end technologies, but you know every single country is still being harmed or destructed by it. I do not know how true it is, but I know it would happen one of these days... now who are afraid?
I am just back... I hope we will enjoy this time... Are you brave enough for the sun to test the human race?

are you kidding me, people will die if a solar storm hit the planet, our planet that is. surely, there will be drastic changed but we won't be part of it, probably those who get extinct first before a new earth emerge then new life forms. sometimes i wonder if we are the first intelligent life forms on earth before the time of the dinosaurs

For the dinosaurs I can somehow say that they thought of themselves as the most intelligent too. For all we know we assume ourselves as intelligent because we are a living proof of life form here on Earth. I agree with you Letran, if the world will change then we are not gonna be part of it

prime hi oh deliver me from the doom mongers who in my 83 years here have predicted the end of the earth when I was five, ten, twenty, twernty firve, thirty,thirty five etc; and here I am in one piece, maybe a little the worse for wear, but not due to any solar storms,just age.
remember the song "que sera, sera, the future's not ours to see, whatever will be, will be". and thus I am going along being glad to be alive knowing whatever will be, will be.What I am afraid of are the things a lot of us are afraid of, running out of money, not being able to pay
bills, the every day worries we all face. so I mylot a lot so I can pay my monthly internet bill.he he.

me too Letran, and what made me think of that song You alway hur the one you love, but I am referring to we love our earth yet we kept doing things to ruin it, I am so glad I live this far from LA for example as we look off and see that ugly grey yellow cloud over LA. called smog.Also I realize if we don't start to treat it right, we will eventually lose it.

the only excuse that the earth end is if we destroy it and it is working slowly, you know green houses, factories emitting smokes, climate change, more waste and less forest, oh, yeah it's gonna end alright but i die first before that happens.

what a nice timing. had just seen 2012 (yeah, too late). the movie reminded me of titanic. anyway, while i really believe it's inevitable, and we're all gonna pay the price of what we're doing to our mother earth, i still felt sad that so many people had to die and so many things had to be destroyed and... shoot me for this but i really hope when that time comes and some people are meant to be saved (like Noah's arc) i hope all the bad guys will perished with all the things man created. hahahah... okay, enough of that. as for me, after finally realizing that these things could really happen and not just in movies (solar storm, high intensity earthquakes, etc. altogether), i decided i am going to live life to the fullest to beat time as much as i can. i'm going to live right, do right, because only then will i not be afraid of whatever may happen.

These storms do happen every once in a while and they haven't affected my life so far, that's why I don't pay much attention to them. I have no fear towards the upcoming storm.
