Students tend to prioritize other things aside from their studies. Massed Practice, or in layman's term as cramming must be discouraged because this will lead to poor comprehension of information. Requirements made in this manner is primarily made for the sake of passing and not for the real purpose of learning.

i admit that there are a lot of times that i do my projects and study on the eleventh hour when i was a student.. but it was always better when i finished everything way before the deadline... probably that was because i prioritize something else and would forget my studies... that wasnt a good habit..

When I was in high school, I used to wait to very late at night to complete projects and study for exams. I guess it was because I was so stressed about having work to do that I pushed the work to the very last minute before I start. Now I try to start studying and doing projects earlier so that I have more time to complete them and spend less time stressing about them.

well almost all students cram one way or the other for some reasons or the other. But cramming doesnt mean that the student is lazy or such. but most cram because of distractions and such like video games and tv.

Actually it doesn't save all the time. Timely study is important. Students don't understand this. Studying the whole year benefits. Students remember their lessons better. eleventh hour reading is temporary.

Well you can say that cramming is an over-rated term for 11th hour. So much to say, I take schooling seriously and it has given me much of what I least expected to gain. I was an honor student and my friends would say how I was able to get through a lot of requirements in hindsight and in just a blink of an eye. Know what? This cramming thing really is a BAD thing. BUT, I look at it differently. Take it from me, CRAMMING brought out the best in me. It made me think faster and it made my work luster, if not acing the said assignment or what have they. Well, if you just LOOK at things differently, REQUIREMENTS really are tedious and overboard. I guess students CRAM because of a different mindset, but nonetheless, if that mindset is to puncture deep through your academic standing and make it flag high with utmost colors, then, CRAMMING it is. :)
