In this house I get the last word. (The girlfriend)

I'm speaking of my own relationship with my husband .. I have the last word.

Even though I like having the last word...I think my husband would have it most of the time. Since if he doesn't get his own point across he'll get so frustrated that he just leaves because he says he needs to cool off. I just want to end the argument. so I just be quite and let him say whatever he wants to say.

I totally agree with you. My husband may be the head of the household but us women are the neck and we stir which way the family will go. I always get the last word!

not only last but also first word too. Actually we try to bracket the conversation.

My husband and I don't do "who has the last word". We work out our differences so that we don't have to fight. But when we DO fight, you KNOW I have the last word!! ;o)

Very different here in this house, Although sometimes i do get the last word but it is normally my husband to be that gets the last word but i could fight it if i wanted to i just cant be bothered!
