I don't believe in such practices and completely abhor them. I believe, Our life is in our hands and we have the freedom to make the better or worse of it, stars or luck do not influence us. Of course for a right course of life, God's guidance is required. How about you? Do u believe in such practices?

hi there. i personally do not rely on astral influence to one's luck. unless there are scientific explanations, i wouldn't really dwell on such. this is the reason why i do not know much on astrology. i like the creativity, but i don't believe in it. also, i do not believe in chinese belief in feng shui. the stars are big balls of fire that hold different planetary bodies. one galaxy couldn't possibly have effects on one's luck. the earth is just a speck of dust compared to the other galaxies. heck, even sounds can't be emitted from one star to the other, what more an influence. others believe a lot on the signs and all that. but to look into the details, how vast is one's knowledge when it comes to the universe? even parallel universe can't be explained.

You are so right. With our limited knowledge, we cant expect stars to govern us somehow. Thanx 4 the thought.

I believe in luck, strongly. Only then, we can explain why only a few are success in life than all others who put the same effort in their life. Astrology can be helpful if those who analyze it are talented well. Mostly, it is in the hands of less skilled persons and so it is hard for me to believe it.

keep_onwatch, “Watch your thoughts, for they become words. Watch your words, for they become actions. Watch your actions, for they become habits. Watch your habits, for they become character. Watch your character, for it becomes your destiny.” Even if you are predestined towards a good life and path, we are still responsible for our decisions - where we challenge our fate and claim our prize and consequences at the end of the day. “It's choice--not chance--that determines your destiny.” Jean Nidetch. When you read someone their horoscope, they always find a way in their mind to make it fit. Try reading a different sign. It all comes out about the same. God sets the parameters of our life. We are the ones who make the choices.

No, I don't believe neither in luck or in the stars. Stars definitly help, but not on the way many people want to believe. They only help for matters like seasons, marines knowing their way to follow, things based on science which are already proofed. But not for a better life like someone says: I have a particular star which gives me luck or protection. As you wrote very well: it's up to every person to conduct his or her life, it's in the hand of anyone. And it is very importante to accept guidance first of all from God. Afterwards, you may accept advice from older and experienced people. That's why I like listen to others when they talk about their experience in life (there are many things to learn) and to read books like the Holy Scritptures, Biographies, historical novels, and others.

No I don't. We win by our hardwork. I believe in hardwork. Astrology can be interesting or a passtime to know our future, but belief in it idiotic.

Astrology was a part of the religion in the ancient Babylon. People thought that the stars were gods and that they influenced the life on earth. Now we know a lot more about the stars and planets and should understand that they cannot influence our life. But these Babylonian beliefs are widely spread. I often wonder how easily people accept the lies and have problems in accepting the truth. Anyway, we were born with a free will and we can make choices - in good or bad direction and have to take the consequences. We get a lot of guidance in God´s word and if we follow it, we know we will have a great eternal future, no matter what happens in our life now. Thank you for this interesting discussion!

Astrology has nothing to do with "luck"..I personally dont believe one is lucky or unlucky..Luck doesnt exist IMO HOWEVER I am a huge fan of Astrology and have yet to do a profile for someone that ISNT accurate. Keep in mind though that ASTROLOGY and your DAILY HOROSCOPE (like what you'd read online or in the newspaper) are NOT the same thing..Daily Horoscopes are EXTREMELY generalized and for fun where as a proper Astrology profile is geared SPECIFICALLY to you..Astrology is NOT about luck but rather gives you insight to what you are prone to, your characteristics etc which can greatly benefit you in your life in all areas.. So all that said, to answer your question..YES Astrology CAN help you..

Well may be it can help people who believe that it would. As far as I am concerned, I do my best and leave unto God the rest, and hope for the rest of my days to go fi9.
