The scariest I've seen so far are mostly Asian movies like Apartment 1303, R-Point, The Grudge, and One Missed Call which already has 3 movies. I was super scared when I watched One Missed call 1 and 2 and i could not sleep without the lights on! I even had to sleep beside my little sister. I am such a chicken, but it really scared me a lot. Another scary movie that I have watched is Bangkok haunted which is divided into three parts. Oh! I forgot to mention Art of the Devil. This is a really scary movie, be sure to watch art of the devil 1 and 2.

The scariest movie for me would have to be a movie from the 80s called "Tetsuo" about a man who has iron protruding from his body. It's not scary in the sense of such gore fest as "Saw" or frightening in the same way as "Nightmare on Elmstreet" but it is so weird, freaky and quite frankly deranged that it plays on your mind long after watching. Even now 20 years + since I first saw it I remember how freaked out I was by it. If you want more main stream scares then you can't go far wrong with "The Entity" especially when you learn that unlike many which proport to be, it really is based on a disturbing true story.

I would definately say The Ring. I thought it was so scary I could not even finishing watching it! (that is not something I am very proud of by the way, but what can you do?)
