Why saying goodbye is very hard?

My husband and I are going to transfer to our new house tomorrow. Since we are newly wed couple and that the company we works with forbids a couple to live in the staff house, so we should leave the staff house. But as I packed my things, I can't help myslef to be emotional because I'm gonna miss this place, the people I lived with. My husband and I lives here for five years. This place is the witness of everything from the start of our relationship to the altar. When my dormmates went to my room and said they would miss us, I just hold my emotion. Why saying goodbye is the hardest thing to do if not it's very hard to say? I do not know, I just can't explain..

The uncertainty that lies after the goodbye can be the hardest part. I mean, we are used to everything. Who knows what will happen after the fact. We might be stepping into a great new chapter of our lives. Then again, we might be stepping into a huge mistake. However, there are times where we have to let go and say goodbye no matter how uncertain everything is.
Nothing is forever. There will be times where we have to move on. There is no reason to forget about the memories but on the bright side, it is a chance to make new memories. Whether they are good or bad, is only something that time will tell. However, its hard to pry ourselves away from our comfort zones. For so long, we live our lives and its hard to adapt to change. So much as uncertain and thus its hard to say goodbye.

Thank you megamatt!..Ur insights provide me an avenue to be positive and be happy..It is very true that life is full of uncertainties, we just learn to ride on and at the end we can find happiness..

Saying goodbye is really hard because of the happy memories that carved in your heart, be it place, loved one, pets, friends or relatives. Best thing to do is move on and prepare yourself to discover new and exciting things out there

because when saying goodbye, indeed there any part of our lives to be forgotten or be abandoned. That is why a separation it is sometimes burdensome for those who run them

indeed true!..We are so attached with each other since we are just four who lives in here..I tried to hide my emotion everytime I saw them but when I am in my room, my tears fell down...I really love these people!

saying goodbye isn't bad at all it is a new beginning... every chapter of our lives there are always goodbye but there are also hellos waiting for us ahead our ways... we might break our hearts a little but as we go forward it makes us realise that goodbyes make us stronger than what we think and makes us realized that life isnt always goodbye but a beautiful hellos of tommorow

Saying goodbye is difficult not because of the person but the precious memories that you had whether bad ones or good ones. Be happy for your new home, start new memories as a couple to becoming a big family. Leave the house you've been for five years but don't ever leave the memories both have when you were there. Stay happy..

the same feelings happening me also,few days it disturb me also.what can we do,we cant even forget it on our life also
