Everyday we find latest technologies in all fields of our life. Science has done an unbelievable progress and everything can be done on your finger tips. Definitely it is a great achievement and the whole Globe has become a small town. On the other side, do we realise we all have no physical activity even for daily routine jobs which the people used to do themselves in the olden days. It looks the technologies have done our life easier. Do you think so? Or we invite different types of deceases like Blood Pressure,Sugar,Cholosterol, etc, etc.?

I cannot say it's totally laziness but yes due to modern technologies we have, there are only less activities we can do that creates advantage and disadvantage at the same time but anyway it's really up to the person if how she or he will balance his or her health and using the technologies now. I think it's really with us on how to handle it.

i agree advance technologies make us lazy, due to less activities and unable us to think for our own or we don't do much of the physical labor anymore we always depend on the technologies to do the work for us, we the smartest species we invented a lot of useful things like for example advance technologies to meet our needs its not bad for us to invent a lot of useful things but being slave on it is not healthy for us.

maybe easier. but i think it is wrong that people don't know how to work off the land. people are relying in techonology so much that they forget common knowledge 50 years ago.

That is really the argument isn't it. In the good old days we did physical labor at the farms and that meant that we were all healthy and had less distractions in day to day life and enjoyed the beauties of nature. Today we have everything at our home and sit watching the idiot box and the man made episodes for TV. We produce more, but work under more stress. We have more medicines but are more sick than ever. We have more of everything still so much less of life than we had in the good old days!! I absolutely agree with you on this. Cheers! Ram

true true. technology has made man lazy no physical tasks anymore. even sports are made digital. imagine swimming, virtually. how can that be plausible in reality how can you swim if you haven't tested the waters. everything is computerized...virtualized... i wonder what will happen in the near future. i wouldn't want digital food for my tongue! good luck reality and good luck life.

i agree on the notion that in a way technology somehow made man lazy. i take myself an example. Because of the internet, esp. unlimited internet access, i tend to procrastinate on things that i should be doing. I dunno there's just something about surfing the net that gets me hooked, esp. facebook (hehe), or maybe it just depends on a person to decide technology to take over their life,eh?

Yup i think some of these latest technologies has made us lazy a lot. Nowadays i am spending a lot of time playing god of war and prince of persia and becoming more tech-savvy instead of health-savvy. i am overweight too.:P:P:P:P

Gone are the days of real healthy life - and now we are leading a life of diseases. Yes I totally agree with you that the latest technologies have really made a man lazy.No real hard work - so how can we digest food.Hence facing lot of health problems.Just see the old people still they cn tolerate everything in life and live healthy that is the hard work they have done in their past.

I think that wellness is a serious living disorder.Having everything at disposal made us to give up the effort of obtaining a certain item or achieving a goal. The Americanism of our times really has a serious effect upon our lives because of the propaganda, lying , political influences... they really won the world with their philosophy..they don't fulfill needs..they create them. They poison their selves and spread the influences everywhere. The technology yes it's a vital part of our survival..humans can't live without it anymore..it's a fact, but we must be sure it's the right ones. They claim health with medicaments, being in shape without movement, spending time with the dear ones through the communication systems without meeting, growing children "healthy" with their "vital treatments"..eating plastic...This is so wrong.. It really matters where your point of view is situated...As a species we are coming closer and closer to our end...as a group of pigs we consume everything around us letting but mud behind..I think this has a cost..

I think it is better if we say that technology makes our life easier. Not lazy. For example communicating with other people far far away is easier and it only took seconds! Compared before with snail mails that it will take days or weeks or sometimes months to reach the recipient. Regarding the possible diseases that we may got because of just lying or sitting around doing nothing but browsing the net its not technology's fault. After all technology also pave way to modern way of exercising. Its really our fault if we got sick.
