Right now, I am preparing myself for the upcoming interview. Till now, I have tonnes of questions to be resolved, which are general questions. Please help to voice out your opinion/experience towards this questions posted by interviewer: Tell me about yourself?

TexLady has got it spot on, in my opinion. What you don't want to do is list out your achievements and your biography, which are already in the Resume (presumably). If I were the interviewer, I would expect a few sentences about yourself (already in the resume) and then 10 sentences or so about what you enjoy, and your views on life and most importantly, your skill regarding what you can do for the company. For eg: If I was interviewing for a call center, I would probably tell them, 'I was born in so and so place and have so and so siblings. I enjoy surfing on the internet and social networking. I like meeting new people and learning about new things. I am good at communication. I have good telephonic manners. I enjoy life as it comes and can take rejection very well.' Etc. etc.

Herro kelvidpang The first thought that crosses my mind when I read your question: I would draft a simple biography that focused on experience that would benefit the company that is conducting the interview. I would not necessarily focus on information that was in my resume, i.e, education, job experience, etc. Prosperous mylotting

Hi Tex, Thank you for your fast response. You are right indeed, no point to say again everything stated in the resume and should say something relevant to their company and how to contribute to the company as a whole. Really appreciate your comments. Are you working right now? Which area/sector/field?

Wau, you were part of the US Air Force. I am so surprised to heard that. Solute to you for had been 20 years contribute to the defence of US. Great to meet such a wonderful and experienced person at mylot. In addition, you had been exposed yourself to so many things e.g. Training, finished your Masters degree in counselling and Travelling. Can you share one of the most memorable events/activities you had been in US Air Force? I heard that to be a qualified Air Force, he must be well equipped with all sort of knowledges, which not everyone can perform it well. Again, it's really my fortune to meet you at mylot. Thanks to mylot to give me this opportunity.
