I know for a fact, that kids are sometimes tag as "daddy's girl, papa's girl, papa's boy, mama's girl, mama's boy or mommy's darling. Wherein, because of this tags, kids slowly grows up only on oneside. Wherein, there are times, when you ask the kid the question - who do you love most, the kid will simply reply and choose only one. Its either Papa (Daddy) or Mama (Mommy).
Until such time, when that kid reaches the right age, the idea is still there.
And, not to mention, this idea is usually tackled whenever parents are going on separation.
How about you, who do you love most - your father or your mother? Or both?

I must admit that I love my parents equally, I don't think that I have ever been a mummies girl or daddies girl, they have both always been there for me. I guess I feel that I can talk about girlie stuff with my mum, but then these days I can talk to them both.

Hi rosie: It's nice that you don't compare you dady's love with your mother's love and that you both love them equally. Even if I know that's how it should be, I think that for us it's really difficult not to think who do you love the most. Thanks for your answer. Have a nice day.

I love them both, of course they are my parents... But I love my mother most because she sacrificed alot and been through a lot... My father is the type who doesnt care that much and just comments when he likes to.. He never was there to ask whats going on with our lives.

Very well said.
With reference to your father's attitude, maybe, he is not that showy for his feelings. The reason why, you claim that he was never there to ask what is going on.

i dont thing that i will be able to select only one parent, for me both my parent are important and i like them but yes i can tell to whom i am closer to the most. i am closer to my mom and i feel very much comfortable with her and i can share the things i want with her and this i cant do it with my dad and i maintain a little distance.

Hi aira sheila: I think that it must be my mother. I don't want to be unfair with my father, but in general, mothers cares a lot for you. My memories about my mother are always good, maybe she has a bad temperement but she has done everything for me and my brothers and I know that she really cares for me. My mother has good feelings and I tend to prefer her even if I understand that both my mother and father love me and they have been with me and for me for ages. Thanks for starting this discussion. Have a nice day.

Very easy for me. My mother wins hands down, even the question was asked.
My parents got divorced a month or so before I was born and my mother raised me and my sister. My father had nothing to do with us (well, apart from being our biological dad and all), never even bought us presents or clothes. It was all my mother who sacrificed everything.
Yes, I am partial to my mother and for good reason too.
