Hi! Anyone with experience importing anything in the Philippines? What are the things I need to know? What are the problems I should expect? I've never bought anything abroad so I don't know what to expect. Any feedback would be great!

Hello cianoy, Well, if we are experts in importing, then we wouldn't be here at all. better check with bureau of customs on what is legal and illegal to import. and also registered first with DTI and other government agencies regarding your business before importing something. i don't have much say on this, make sure it's not smuggled.

hmm... I buy all my stuff from the internet so shipping details would probably be the sellers problem. Where do you buy this stuff that's supposed to be shipped? (I'm from the philippines too btw.)

Nothing yet. It's all theoretical for now because I'm apprehensive about importing. I know the seller's supposed to handle shipping, but I'm afraid some stuff getting lost in customs. I'm not sure how to handle that if there are complications.
